Artwork Tips for Vinyl / Engraving

Due to the nature of Vinyl cutting & engraving, all artwork should be submitted as vectored artwork. An example of this format is an Adobe Illustrator EPS file.

Bitmap files such as BMP, JPG, PSD, GIF, cannot be directly cut out of vinyl. The graphics in these bitmap files have to be traced and converted into vectored art which can diminish the quality and/or precision of the artwork. Submitting bitmapped artwork can also increase cost/production time.

DO - Send Illustrator EPS or AI Files (saved as version 8) - Convert all Text to Paths/Outlines - Convert all Graphics to Paths/Outlines - Contain all information in one file (no external files) Keep outlines singular and not layered.

Do NOT - Place Bitmap Files into EPS or AI documents.
